The Versatile Blogger Award

Chynna over at The Invisible Child was sweet enough to nominate me for this award. Thanks for thinking of me, chica!

Here is a little bit about what the award is and how you earn it:

When you consider nominating a fellow blogger for the Versatile Blogger Award, consider the quality of the writing, the uniqueness of the subjects covered, the level of love displayed in the words on the virtual page. Or, of course, the quality of the photographs and the level of love displayed in the taking of them.

And the rules are:

  • Thank the person who nominated you
  • Include a link to their blog
  • Tell the person who nominated you 7 facts about you
  • Select 15 blogs/bloggers that you have recently discovered or follow regularly

My 7 Random Facts

  1. I have a terrible fear on money. I know that it is necessary but I don’t like to have it and I don’t like to spend it because I know what it can do to people. I usually don’t have a problem buying things that I absolutely need but I typically have Josh buy me items other then day to day supplies.
  2. I love ice! I have something called Pica and it is brought on by my anemia but even when my iron is sorted, I still like to chew on it.
  3. I finished a four year degree program in three. When applying for art school, I was required to present a portfolio for my interview with the president of the school. When he saw it, he was so impressed by it that he decided that I didn’t need the first year of courses.
  4. All of my best friends have been Puerto Rican. I seriously can’t explain it, LOL. It’s not like I tried at all. My best friend Ariana is Puerto Rican. We’ve been best friends since sophomore year of high school.
  5. I am half Hispanic. My father was born and raised in Panama and Spanish is his first language.
  6. I had very specific guidelines for dating. He couldn’t be more than 3 inches taller than me and he had to be no more than a year older than me. Luckily Josh fit that criteria =)
  7. I didn’t want to date until I was out of college. Meeting Josh changed that though but he is my first and last date, hand hold, kiss, boyfriend, husband and so on. I think it’s kind of romantic.

I know some of you were nominated already but here is my list in no particular order =)

  1. Thanks for the nomination, Joy! I enjoyed learning more about you! 🙂 I think it’s great that your portfolio was so great that you were allowed a free pass from your first year courses 😀 That’s absolutely brilliant! Your dating qualification also made me laugh; it’s really great that Josh fit your criteria XD

  2. I loved reading these facts about you. Thank you for nominating me, I will have to do this. 😀

I hope that you are starting to feel a bit better. *hugs*

  3. Love it! I think your husband being your first and last love is the best 🙂 I am so happy for you ♥
Also, good job on finishing a 4-year course program in 3 years. that’s awesome

  4. Thanks for the nomination!!! I’m flattered! <3 <3 <3 I'll have to post this later in the week. We would work well together money wise. i'm the controller of the cash in our household because I am the one who can be conservative when it comes to spending and saving. I'm a little paranoid of being poor…I guess student loans will do that to you!!

  5. I always like reading random facts about people 🙂 That’s awesome that you finished your degree a year early, and that the school president was so impressed with your work! I can totally see why. I love your work!

I think it’s funny that you had specific dating guidelines. I’m glad your husband met them! I didn’t date until my second year of college, but I didn’t want to date in high school. There’s too much uncertainty with people going to different colleges. I think it’s cute that your husband is your first and last!

And thank you for nominating me! 😀

  6. I remember you telling Mutay and I about how Josh was your first everything and I literally awwww’d and I literally just awwwww’d again because it is so sweet! I never really had specific dating guidelines, except that he had to be taller than me which is like everyone anyway, so there ya go XD

Oooh, I get like that with money too. I never ever carry cash with me and I only spend when I have to, so like lunch or something like that. Crazy.

  7. I selected you for this originally, but then realised you’d done it and switched your name. :s For the record. :p

    Numbers six and seven are really cute! ^^;

  8. Hey! I’m half Hispanic, too! My dad comes from El Salvador and I married a man that has family from Honduras. We should totally bond over this. I don’t like money, either to be honest. I get stupid over it. Argh. Wow, you finished your degree early, congrats! Love these facts. Thanks for nominating me!
