☀️ Day

I actually managed to get myself out of bed to make breakfast. I was still feeling so sick, so I ditched my to-do list for my bed, blanket and a box of tissues. I watched a bunch of British television and drank some hot tea. I also got to intrigued with English Paper Piecing.

🌖 Night

I let the hubby cook dinner when he offered! He also came right in and did the dishes. If I could marry him again, I would. An old friend added me on facebook that I haven’t heard from in 15 years. That was so surprising. I spent more time in bed and I’ve been burning a fever. I’m starting to think that this is no allergy problem.  

📋 List & Goals

I did nothing. NOTHING!

To Bake:

  • Cheese Danish
  • Sage bread
  • Brioche
  • Irish Apple Cake
  • Cinnamon Babka

To Make:

  • Custom Traveler’s notebook
  • Handmade Inserts
  • Knitted scarf & hat
  • Woodworking project
  • Invites for Friendsgiving

To-do:

  • Organize pantry
  • Organized cabinets
  • Paint kitchen walls
  • Wax hardwood floors
  • Buy new living room curtains

⭐️ Reflections

I thought a lot about my teacup collection today. I thought about how I got my first one as a gift shortly after I had a life changing experience at a tearoom in Niagara Falls. That place really spoke to my heart and I never take those memories or the gift of getting a new cup for granted. It made me realized that I really do have a deep connection with the little experiences that I am able to receive.

  1. Haha, I loved your Facebook status the other day about watching too much British television and drinking too much tea. Sounds like a good way to live 😉 That’s so sweet of your hubby. A keeper right there! I hope you feel better soon, chica! Looking forward to seeing your baked good – I hope you post lots of photos.

  2. I hope you are starting to feel better. It’s wonderful you do have things to help and your hubby is the greatest. Oh noes, why did you have to say you were off centre.
